Great Ride

Yesterday, I got the bike out and went for a ride on my favorite highway in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. It is a two lane road that runs West to East through the park with twists, turns, ups and downs. Other roads out and around Vegas are interstates due to the vast miles between towns and, as you know, the GZ just isn't cut out for running flat out at 65/75 mph for very long.

The weather was cool but overall not too bad (50's).Those of you who live in the northern climes have most likely stored your bikes for the winter or are making mods or repairs in your garages. Sorry. I didn't post this to make you jealous.

My bike just turned over 23K miles on this trip and has been mostly trouble free (knock on wood), other than normal maintenance. Hope most of you have had similar experiences.

If I don't post again before the holidays, have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. As always, ride safe and ATGATT.
