Plenty of banks, but - honestly - not ONE that I've ever found space to park the bike next to. The traffic problem IS that bad in our local towns & villages.

That was the problem when I took the pic of the locksmith shop. Had to wait till a Sunday to get near with the bike.

Holiday Tag

Ha! Now that no one else is riding, I can get in on this game. Even though the picture looks kinda blah, Oroville Dam is the highest dam in the US at 754 feet top to bottom. http://ludb.clui.org/ex/i/CA3019/ It's even taller than Hoover Dam (726ft!) Apparently there is enough material in Oroville Dam to create a 2 lane highway around the entire earth. Well, maybe after they find a way to make highways float, I suppose.

Old Tag: Dam

I know the new tag has a little bit of a time crunch on it, what with less than 2 weeks to Christmas and all, so if it goes nowhere, I'll update it with something easier. New tag is Holiday Lights! preferably not your *own* house
New Tag: Holiday Lights!

Don't let the light from my miles of goat chewn reflecto-tape blind you! Also, if anyone lives, I don't know, on an island or something where they don't celebrate the winter type holiday with light up displays, I suppose any sort of festive holiday type display would work!

Re: Tag-o-rama Gone for the winter

Ok, I know I can't leave, "Christmas lights display" as the tag until spring. I mean, I guess I could, but that would be cheeky, so I stopped at a couple of places on the way home from work last night. Sorry for the blurriness! My camera doesn't do night scenes very well... or day scenes. Why do I have this camera?

Old tag: christmas lights display

New tag: a hotel!
and hotel can mean hotel/motel/holiday inn

Re: Tag-o-rama Gone Global

Took the camera for a ride today.
Old tag: Sandman Inn just a little bit down the road from home.
New tag: Tantalus Lookout a few km north of Squamish. Travelled at least 160 km(100 miles) before the lookout pic. Elevation is 320 meters(1050 feet) above sea level and a great view of the Tantalus Mountain Range on a clear day. The pic view is looking south towards home somewhere in the far off valley. Temps were in the mid teens C and very pleasant.
I would guess the next tag should be a lookout/view point or point of interest.
Had a good day. Met up with a new friend on a Vulcan cruiser and got lovingly mauled by a couple Russian Wolf Hounds at Star Bucks.

Tag-o-rama Gone Global

Old tag: a scenic overlook at King's Gap State Park in Central Pennsylvania. There's an even more beautiful overlook higher up by an old Mansion bit there was still a lot of fog in the valley and nothing could be seen from there.

New tag: storage lockers
