Hi guys! Recovery is going GREAT! Just saw the doctor today, more xrays, and he said - buy a decent cane and go take a walk. The best news I could have heard and a full 6 weeks before it was predicted! He said everything was healing up really nice, there was no need to baby my leg anymore, and told me to start putting weight on it and ween myself off the walker. I'm happy!!!! :2tup:
The ankle is still a bit sore, not a lot, and the shoulder still only works part way. I can reach out for a doorknob, can't raise my hand over my head yet. Will have to not get held up for a bit, I guess. Anyway, all minor stuff, really. I attribute this fast recovery on the fact that I have a lot of friends wishing me well. It sure means a lot to both my wife and me. THANK YOU!! :rawk: Login or Register to Remove Ads |

That is great news Mike. Must have a lot to do with being in good shape before the mishap and the care taken after the event. Keep up the good work.
