Re: GZ250 Price advice
I bought a 2006 GZ250 new in 2008 (training bike returned to showroom floor). Should have asked my girls first, because they went through the ceiling. So I stored it without driving it, gas went bad, and very recently I have had the carb cleaned and bought a new battery. It has a slight afterfire that the carb cleaning shop swears will go away. (I have a post about all this on this forum).
Anyway, it has some small marks on some of the chrome, but otherwise it looks great, and has only 190 miles on it. If anyone is interested, give me a call. I need to net $1500, so the buyer will be paying Nueces County, Texas, sales tax, inspection and license tag fee. I am trying to avoid repeating the bad gas issue by driving it more frequently so it will have a few more miles on it. I just poked around to see if there is a rule against mentioning a bike for sale here and didn't see one. If this is a taboo subject, I apologize ahead of time. er... well if by girls he meant, "wife," then you gotta know how to not win a battle only to lose the war.
Oh, and mine was a 2000 with 6980 miles for $1250. They asked for $1250. I'm not much of a haggler. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: GZ250 Price advice
It is sometimes easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission. My first wife hated me for getting my 1st 125. Something to do with being her meal ticket I guess.

Yeah, I had that problem, but after she asked about the life insurance one day she suddenly decided that I could ride if I wanted to. :skull: :neener: Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: GZ250 Price advice
I bought my 2007 GZ250 in December of 2009 for $1500. I sold it the following year for $1700. I had a smile on my face as did the buyer.
