Me too, I didn't realize that there were so little roads with distance markers...

All interstates have them, but that's where my GZ250 doesn't go.
And last week I did see a sign displaying "17 miles" to somewhere, but I was in the car.

by the way WHAT IS THIS?

says something like R/W, where did you find this? see if people accept this otherwise Tag o Rama is stuck with the marker discovery.

They are quite common, actually...at least along state and US highways. It marks the Right of Way line for the road.
I have one 100 feet from my house......but had to go 500 miles before I remembered about the "tag". :roll:

Billboard, this one is along Highway 41 in Ringgold, Georgia.

New Tag: An old Barn. It doesn't have to have a windmill beside it.

This one is in the community of Keith, which is East of Ringgold and North of Varnell, Georgia.

Finally I remembered to take the camera.
Rail car is part of the exhibits in a RR Museum we have here.
The other Mythical creature is of course a Unicorn but any Mythical critter would do probably. Shouldn't be too difficult.
