I tried the contact cleaner and lubricate it didn't do much, I don't have original switch can I Hotwire this one to test if it's bad before I spend the $100

Yes you can hotwire it but be careful, you don't want to fry anything if you do it wrong. That being said.....

Jumper the Red and Orange wire together
Jumper the Orange/Yellow Tracer and Black with White Tracer together
Jumper the Gray and Brown wire together.

Thanks for posting the video wacio. I found it very informative for future reference. My brain works such that if I see how something is done, I can do the work with a lot of confidence vs. reading a how to manual.

Yea thank you so much for the video and info on the ignition, it's raining today but I'm going try them out tomorrow and hopefully get somewhere, I

Well thank you all for the information and input, as I was in the middle of hotwirng the ignition a package came in the mail, the $40 oem ignition, put it on and back together and BAM!! Perfect spark. Lesson learned, don't buy cheap Chinese ignitions lol

I just ordered a oem switch assy from my local Suzuki/kaw/yam/hon shop. over $200. I'd like to know the $40 source
