Re: Blizzard !!

Blaine, you don't want to move to Vancouver itself. I doubt you could afford a home. There are many close areas that are not as expensive and still a great place to live. B.C. stands for Bring Cash.

Re: Blizzard !!

Once upon a time, many years ago....

I hooked my 14 ft Lonestar Aluminium Semi-V fishing boat onto the back of my GS1000E, with fishing poles hanging out the back. Pulled it 18 miles up to Copan Lake turning heads and making jaws drop all the way

There are some out of the way places where living is not near a spendy as the big city. It really depends on what you want to do and if you would like a job. If you are looking for a retirement home there are areas with lower values and little industry. The one thing I did not expect but do appreciate is the fact that I had a lot less outlay by not working and it's associated costs. Going to work costs money.

Was that legal or a calculated risk? The canoe I saw was actually set up to be street legal.

Re: Blizzard !!

Bike was wired for a small tent trailer, so, the tail and brake lights were operable on the boat trailer. Was it legal - yes. Was it severely redneck - hell yes. Sometimes you just have to color outside of the lines.

I am sorry to say that playful side of me took a turn down a side street and has not been seen for many many years.

Re: Blizzard !!

Coloring outside the lines is a good thing. Now that you are old enough to have a 2nd childhood you can do it again. You need to get a T-shirt like mine. It says "Cleverly Disguised as a Responsible Adult".
