I wouldn't use it on your bike. The charging rate is likely going to cook the battery. A rate of 0.75 amps is sufficient.

Do you have a motorcycle shop in your town/city? It would be worth your trip to go talk to a good mechanic at one of those shops about general maintenance and advice. Even if he charges for his time it would be well worth your while as it seems that you are a relative newbie to motorcycles in general based on your questions. No disrespect intended. You might hook up with other riders, as well, and learn from them. However, you are on a great forum here with lots of members who are really savvy on the subject and we are all willing to help.

I have a shop here but when I called them they seemed rude so I didn't want to go

That is too bad, and bad business on their part. Go online and see if there are any riding clubs in your area. Talk to other riders you come in contact with too. Most are willing to share their passion and knowledge about bikes. It will make riding more fun too once you get it up and running. Just a suggestion.

It worked. Thanks for the help guys. I didn't know the charger was too many amps. Also charging the battery before installing worked as well

Good to hear. Send pics of your new ride when you can. We all love seeing what other riders are doing to their bikes. Be safe.
