Re: Cardinal work sin

Great vibes, I already received a call about a follow up interview but due to bad reception and bad timing I've been playing phone tag all week.

They were actually interviewing me for 2 positions, a mechanical engineering position and an electrical engineering position since I have decent experience in both fields so hopefully between the two I'll find a spot I like.

Re: Cardinal work sin

On an absolutely hilarious side note, I was in one of the work trucks with my coworker...the one who can't tell the difference between venting, criticism, and a hole in the ground. He starts going on about the same complaints I had with my boss. Of course it was never mentioned before and will never be mentioned again. Just cracked me up.

Re: Cardinal work sin

When you land the new job don't forget to thank your old supervisor for the helpful and enlightening evaluation meeting. With special praise for the way he handles workplace concerns from you and your coworkers.

Nope. If and when I move on I'm gonna let all the pansies who pretended there were no issues continue working under the same BS I did. They don't want to speak up or even support me, then I'm not gonna help them a damn bit.

Quick update:

Had my second interview, it went great but I won't know anything until after the holidays as to whether I get an offer or not. Seemed like a decent place. It's not as exciting or as cool to talk about as what I do now but it seems lower stress and hopefully a few less hours and thats about all I'm looking for at this point.

Fantastic news, man. Fingers are still crossed on the upgrade. Cool jobs are only fun to talk about if you can get through their description without having the hairs on your neck stand up & sweat start beading down your spine. Otherwise... ain't nobody got time fo dat
