Just posting a follow up in case someone has a similar problem and find this thread through a search.
I ordered a replacement clutch cover gasket from http://www.powersportsplus.com/. It cost me €20 delivered (to Ireland) but because it was coming from the USA it did take a few weeks to get here. In theory replacing this gasket is straightforward but it was tough going removing all remnants of the old gasket from the clutch cover. There is probably better ways of doing it but I got it off with a soft kitchen scrubber but make sure that there is no metal in it. As blaine warned , make sure that you don't take a nick out of the cover. Anyways I have the gasket replaced now and all is well Thanks for all the help. Login or Register to Remove Ads |
