Like most things they arent cheap in Ca. I notice they charge about twice as much as other parts of the country. Its expenseive here for good reason the weathers good all year around. I just replaced my muffler...wow... the new sound is great it sounds like a real motorcycle now. tomarrow im going to work on the carb alittle I need to do the needle shim and open up the mixture screw so I can adjust it. I'm a relative newbie here online and at 45 I seem to be squarely between the youngster group and those w/experience & wisdom to share. Don't need to tell you how great this forum since since you've been eyeballing us for quite some time now. Regarding your girlfriends "self interest": yes, she's interested in YOUR happiness! I think your right shes the best thing thats ever happened in my life and I really do love her. I need to make sure I dont mess it up and pay more attetion to her instead of my bike. At 45 your a young chick my daughters are your age . As far as being older having experince and wisdom Im still waiting for that to kick in seems I always have to learn the hard way .
