Re: I dont ride enough

For me, there is nothing more relaxing or more enjoyable than getting on the bike and taking off for a 30 minute ride.
No mortgage. No wife. No kids. No job. No nothing.

Just me and the road.

It is the opposite of lonely/boring.

I find that a lot of motorcycle owners buy their bikes as a thing to use when it's warm and and sunny. Like owning an ATV or a nice lawn tractor.

Motorcycles are meant to be ridden. They are daily forms of transportation for hundreds of millions of people every day on the planet. Why we use them only on Saturdays in October between 3pm and 6pm, I'll never know.

When I communte to work in the mornings, I get a small sense of that "No wife. No kids. No job. No nothing." part for about 15 minutes to start the day. What's better?

Ride your bike man. Learn to enjoy the time with yourself. Let your bike be the other person with you. Just go.

Re: I dont ride enough

Rookie Rider, I thought about your post today as I rode my bike to take care of my many errands. I am not a fan of working out, but realize it is a necessity. So, today I decided to combine a positive and a negative. I rode my bike to the gym. I was so excited to get out and ride, that I didn't talk myself out of going to the gym. When I finished working out, it was absolutely exhilarating to feel the wind as I rode home. Just sharing one of the many ways you can get out and ride more as you go about your daily business and not feel lonely or bored.

Re: I dont ride enough

A liberal dose of talcum powder in the shorts before you ride will help.
