Re: battery screwed up
If you get a new AGM battery, like most of them are for a bike this size, do not forget to fully charge it up before first use. Not the store, YOU, overnight for 6 hrs, or so on a 1.5 - 2 amp charger, or you will be back in a few days buying another one.

Re: battery screwed up
Advanced Gas Mat - a type of sealed battery. The maintainer will probably work, just takes a lot longer. See what the output of it is. If it's 1.25 ma, it will take a looong time.
That battery you posted is much smaller in size than the battery in the GZ if I remember (don't have the bike any longer to go out and measure) and a lot smaller than the one in my TW200 or the S50. I hope it has enough CCA (cold cranking amps) output to turn over and start your bike. And true GEL batteries are usually pretty expensive so I have to wonder if that really is a GEL as I wasn't aware they made them in such a small size. I can't imagine a GEL being less expensive than an AGM or VRLA (very similar to AGM) or SLA (sealed lead acid) battery. |
