Re: My GZ
*UPDATE* Well when measuring everything for tire fit I forgot a very important clearance, the one between my tire and my chain. Chock another one up to inexperience. bah. Called the place I got the tires from, seems to be a pretty painless return, thank god. Unfortunately I'll probably have to order more tires before I get my refund, not much meat left on the rear. Got my lowering kit today but until I get my tail light for my side mount and I can remove the tail mount I don't want to put it on. I swear by the time I get done with this project I'm gonna be too tired to even enjoy it lol. : D
Hi-Five to all the people who have completed their projects! |

Re: My GZ
*UPDATE* Not a big one but I finally got my turn signals from China, after about a week and a half. Also bought one of those "Cool Blue Headlights". Well the first thing I noticed about my "High Quality" turn signals are that they are pretty much useless in the daylight, but considering that you aren't supposed to have any at all on a bobber/chopper I think they will do just fine. They are $2 a pair so I'm not crying lol. Later today I should be fitting the Hardtail/Lowering conversion and may lay some paint on the front fender and chrome parts. Still haven't decided between semi-gloss and matte for the main color of the bike. I do however know that all the chrome and highlight parts on the bike will be gloss so they will get painted today

Re: My GZ
2Ww, you got your monies worth. You better brush up on your hand signals because those little guys wouldn't light up the inside of a cow. And they are far too close together to do anything but confuse drivers.

Re: My GZ
They may also not be legal for street use for both of those reasons. Can you separate them for more distance between them?
