Thank you all for the warm welcome. The Miata was 8 years old when I came across it and had 17,900 miles on it.

I knew when I retired I'd buy another small roadster (owned a MG Midget years ago) and I just could not pass it up. Although Red is not my first choice in any vehicle; you'd never know it by looking at the photos.

At my age you don't put off anything for long! :lol:

Welcome aboard Roadfinder. Even though you're experienced I'd recommend you take the MSF BRC to get you restarted in the right direction. It couldn't hoit.
