Re: Mileage POLL : How many ya got? How many will you...?
Easy, you're right - think I had you confused with canuck from that other thread. And scheezo, I agree - I would have no problem doing a motor swap if I had to when the time came. I swear I love my GZ more every day I ride it. My desire to get a bigger bike seems to have almost completely disappeared as I get more and more comfortable with my ride.
I drive mine to work every day, 5 days a week, even in the 115 degree heat. I am saving a ton on gas money, and to be honest, the heat really isn't that big of a deal, unless I am stopped at a light for a long time. And, contrary to what some may believe, my mesh riding jacket actually keeps me cooler than if I was wearing no jacket : it is designed to channel the airflow for maximum cooling, and it keeps the direct sun off me. In short (or not I guess! Lol) I am planning in riding my GZ until I retire basically, how even many miles that takes! Have a great, and safe, weekend everyone :2tup: AZ Kev

Re: Mileage POLL : How many ya got? How many will you...?
good suggestions.
GZ might go beyond 100K but in the hands of 3rd or 4th owner.

Wow emory, that is quite the commute! I would venture to guess you are loving the gas mileage of the GZ eh? I know I sure do, especially compared to the 13 or 14mpg my dodge truck gets!
Good luck and ride safe :2tup: AZ Kev

dodges will run forever, but they aren't well known for economy.
my taurus wagon is geting 26-28, but now that gas is finally going up again, yeah, i'm lovin my geezer and its 58-82. long as i can keep it down to 50 or so, i'll keep getting that 80+ and not complain so much about my sore butt.
