Build another garage.

Re: Don's Ural

Maggie, with the strictness of the California air pollution restrictions I wonder if the Ural would be allowed out there.

Good point! Now that you mention it, I've never "met" a Ural in person. Have only seen a few sidecar additions locally. There is actually a guy around here that does custom sidecars. http://sidestrider.com/ (I hope that link worked)

I actually contemplated adding a sidecar to my GZ and then realized I just couldn't...I don't want to destroy its zip. So, if I were to get a sidecar (assuming I build another garage LOL!!!), I would have to put it on the VZ800.

Re: Don's Ural

Love the link Maggie, what creative looking sidecars. I think you are correct in your evaluation of adding a sidecar to the GZ, probably bog it down a lot, the 800 would be a better choice.

Ha ha ha, it's funny.
I actually visited sidestrider place couple of months ago,
ask him if my bike can have Sidecar on it....
He said that it's possible but not recommanded for my FZ6.
So, I hold down my sidecar for a moments...
Thanks for remind me Maggie.
Here is the owner's photo with his rig. (beautifule sidecar that he built by himself)

Re: Don's Ural

That is quite a side car rig. Looks to be a lot bigger than needed though. My opinion only of course but the car is too long and blocks the drivers vision to the right. Busy, do you remember what kind of bike he had for the rig ?
