Re: A Zip and Splat doing a wheelie on I-75
It's scary on such a low-torque bike. The 250r is not capable of a power-wheelie, but if you slip the clutch in 2nd and do it right, it'll come up pretty easily...but certainly not for very long. You really need a bike with much higher torque for any kind of stunting.

Like I have said to Patrick before, it is dangerous enough riding on Two wheels, so I damn sure don't want to ride on one.

Re: A Zip and Splat doing a wheelie on I-75
I fell of the back of my dirt bike as a kid doing a wheelie, felt pretty stupid, mostly embarrassed, but at 45 it'd probably break me in half so I plan to keep both wheels on the ground for the rest of my riding career.

Re: A Zip and Splat doing a wheelie on I-75
BTW, my next bike will probably be a sport bike, and I've always been a WSBK/MotoGP fanatic, so no slam towards sportbikes and those who respect what they can do to them.

Re: A Zip and Splat doing a wheelie on I-75
That video someone posted (Patrick?) of the guy and his Ninja 250 made me think about trying one of those. But I think I am set for at least a year. It's hard enough keeping two motorycles busy.

Nah, the one where the guy rode from CA to FL and then to Alaska. But that one was fun.
