Re: K&N air filters
I've been around. Patrick wrote me a sappy love e-mail basically begging me to come back...
So, here I am. The scoots working fine. We had a period of rain that basically didn't stop for almost a month. So I've been almost exclusively in the Saab lately. Now that the rain has stopped we're seeing temperatures around 12 degrees F. Needless to say, I'm still in the car. Sucks. Thanks for the welcome. |

Re: K&N air filters
oh, i did not apperceive that we aerosol the oil outside, that's why i was apprehensive how the oil leaks. and amuse explain the additional part. for the cars or bike does the added or cleaner air puts added accent on engine or eats it abroad beforehand than recommended time period? Pulling off the air clarify absolutely is creating a changeless breeze of air, clashing accepting a K&N. If that were the case, why advertise em lol. K&N lets added air in but still maintains some restriction. So i wouldn't say that's a acceptable comparison.

the only reason a k&m filter is red is because the oil you spray on it is red. it will not leak any oil ever unless you spray crap loads of oil in the filter only spray enough to lightly coat the filter with oil, when you buy the filter its already sprayed with oil so your good on that till you need to wash it. the k&n has bigger holes in it. if you do not spray it with the oil the dirt will not stick to the filter and more dirt will get threw to the enigne. the k&n filter is a great product if properly oiled. |

On an unmodified North American model GZ, it will actually make your performance MUCH worse.....because the bike will run WAY lean. You can see the effect by running without any air filter for a couple of minutes. Don't get out in traffic though! Bikes designed for other parts of the world are not quite as lean from the factory so the difference might not be as much.
