Indeed, what I meant is: ask the shop if they did the 600 mile service, or did they ask the PO if it were done.

Hills tend to be the GZ's enemy. In fact a slight grade and a headwind will have you down a gear in no time. Having to plan ahead and take a run at a hill is not always in the cards due to traffic or other conditions.

A valve check and adjust is a 1 hour job in the book. Ask what the hourly labor rate is and go from there.
As for a new wardrobe the sky is the limit. Sometimes the first jacket or pants will be completely satisfying and other times you have to go around 3 or 4 times before you find the right fit. Between Lynda and myself we can fill a closet with riding gear. We have also given away some gear that we no longer wear to a rider or pillion who needs an update in gear. |
