You just got a Harley 3 weeks ago. That I want to see. Post a few pics so we can see it. I know you said she needs alot of work done ,... but still.

Hey, I took off that dark windshield and took her out for a ride today, my day off. Man... the power is so impressive. I'm taking it very slow until I feel more comfortable riding around town. I also went back to the dealer so he could check the brakes for me. The front brake was making a clicking sound whenever I used it. The mechanic said the brake pads still have alot of meat on them, he said not to worry about the clicking sound. He said its only when you are braking lightly, when you're more forceful, there is no sound.

I want saddlebags , that won't cost an arm and a leg. I saw a pic on google that gave me an idea. diy saddlebags with 2 plastic toolboxes. I figure $50 for the pair, .. and its waterproof too. I might get something more subtle, something all the same color.

Alan , that sounds better than plastic toolboxes. Anything is better than the canvas toolbag I have now, tied with bungee cords. I'm not in a rush, but I do want to buy something better than this canvas bag. I saw a walmart saddle bag for like $55 or close.

You have a sweet looking ride Eddie. I'm sure it will serve you well.

It may not be to your liking but expandable textile saddle bags from Cortech or Nelson-Rigg can carry a lot of stuff. Check them out if leather or bullet proof ammo cans aren't a priority.
