Good luck with that.
I doubt that they know for sure without actually trying it.
Might just have to go for it.

My compromise was a HJC CL-MAX helmet. It is full face, but the front flips up. I wear glasses and this makes putting a helmet on so much easier.

Ditto here with the glasses and the HJC CL-MAX.
I like that the visor can be flipped up too, but for speeds over 40-45 mph I close it. Two weeks ago I had just closed it, did 55-60 and a honey bee flew right into the bottom quarter inch of the visor, PLUNK ! It left a big nectar splatter and I was glad it didn't wind up on my cheek or in my nose or teeth...

Re: Full Face Helmet

The "real" reason I wear my full face helmet every single ride. Oh, sure, I say it's safety, but I am easily squigged!

Safe riding!

I completely forgot about those "whirlygigs" I used to play with those all the time when I was a kid. I miss Ohio

I got an HJC Evolve modular helmet for 2 reasons:
  • Glasses[/*:m:8lg37rhl]
  • when my kids want another goodbye kiss after I've put my helmet on [/*:m:8lg37rhl]
.

I've been very happy with it. I don't mind the heat much with it at all, and I usually sweat like crazy. I just click the visor open a bit and I'm fine.

Re: Full Face Helmet

Can you drink coffee with that one? That's my only complaint with my HJC. I always forget to take that last good gulp before I go in the morning. Once the lid is on, you need a crazy straw to get a drink. Even then, the plumbing's a little dicey.

One of the reasons my partner wants a full-face, flip-top helmet is to get that last bit of coffee. The other is to kiss me goodbye ;-)

Maybe you could try what this guy does. Coffee might be a little hot though.
