windshield vibration
johncruise,
I had the same problem when I mounted my windshield higher on the speedometer. A little unstable, so I moved it back down to the top of the headlight. More solid, less vibration. The wind turbulance isn't too bad and I'm 5'7" which probably makes a difference.
