Re: End of year donation drive
If anyone has a non paypal suggestion, i am open to it. I simply cannot find an alternative that doesn't charge me monthly. I am awaiting Amazon's 'paypal' alternative to activate me, but i think you also need an amazon account to send money to someone.
all those waiting for non paypal methods, i apologize for the wait, I know you want to help!! Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: End of year donation drive
Hey dupo, thank you all for this site. It's like having a dealer service desk at the keyboard with riding tips to boot. :rawk:
Not sure about other countries, but a US Postal Service money order is probably the most secure form of payment besides perhaps Paypal. It has a security strip, watermark and serial number that pretty much makes it all but impossible to copy. The main inconvenience is that the buyer has to cash it at the Post Office. You know immediately whether it's good or not, no waiting. As long as the Post Office stays in business that is. Typical gov't agency has no idea how to run a business. Don't get me started...

Re: End of year donation drive
Why would someone make a donation with a bogus check? If they're donating to the site and their check doesn't clear, wouldn't that just mean they were using the site for free, which is what they were already doing to start with?
Not that anyone wants to get a fake check, I just don't see why someone would even send one. |
