Re: Daytona Bike Week 2012

Looks like something for everybody interested in 2 wheelers. That Hodaka gave me a bit of a flashback. A friend many years ago had a really old Ace 90 with a large chrome tank that was almost indestructable no matter what he did to it. He finally let it go when parts became extinct.

Re: Daytona Bike Week 2012

A couple of guys on ADV were going across country on a 250 and a 125. The 250 holed a piston before they left. no parts in time, so the 125 went by himself.

Very interesting trip.

Those old bike have a lot of character.

Re: Daytona Bike Week 2012

I always look for a good local eatery when I travel, so being in Florida, I wanted some raw oysters.
This turn out to be a challenge 30 miles from the Ocean.

So Warner, Gerry and Idecided to go down the coast until I found the type of restaurant that I was looking for.
Boy, did we score a home run on this place.

A dozen raw oysters, quarter pound of steamed shrimp and 2 or 3 beers for $18.
This place had everything that I was looking for.
