Re: Closing in on our 1000 member...
Well i gave him a special rank image and if Alan still wants to contribute a can of seafoam to him .... that's what our winner shall receive.
I already PM'd him about being #1000 as well as the rank image. Funny as hell, Alan suggested the seafoam .... and the guy's first post, was about SeaFoam lol. viewtopic.php?t=3231 Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Dupe -
I can paypal you the $$ if you can do the arrangements. Just let me know what the damages are... ...and, congratulations! You are an independent Internet success in landscape dominated by big corporations. I recommend you look into ads from BikeBandit, Suzuki, NewEnough, etc. -Alan.

Alright, sounds good Alan. I'll make the arrangements and let you know.
As for the ads .... yea, something i've thought about. Not sure how to approach it as its territory i have yet to conquer. |

Re: Closing in on our 1000 member...
Dupo,
I haven't done much with ads either. I've done some "bidding" on Google search words but that is the opposite (that is actually buying advertising) and, my writing partner has done Amazon links to our silly books (I think you do get paid on those.) Maybe you could start with some links to Amazon for "Proficient Motorcycling" and other books our members are likely to be interested in? I think there are agencies where you can download links etc. for click through ads but as I mentioned before I haven't done it. If you'd like me to look into it for you I will (I'm kind of curious about it.) Meanwhile I will send you enough to cover the Seafoam and the shipping - you can take the balance as a donation. -Alan.

Re: Closing in on our 1000 member...
I was gonna purchase a can of seafoam via the net and just ship it to him ... can't find anyone who will ship a $10 can of seafom for less than the cost of the seafoam lol. Guess i'll head down to the auto parts store and just buy the can and ship it the old fashioned way.
If you are curious, take a look into the ad deal. I'll have to poke around and see what i can dig up as well. |
