Thanks guys. Yeah, the Surgeon told me I've gotta wait another 6 weeks before I can even start putting any weight on my right leg, and the shoulder is also a way out from being fully functional. So the sell of the bike provides some financial relief and all even though it was kinda sad watching it go off down the road on the trailer. They've agreed that my 500 is "totalled" but they haven't offered me a settlement figure yet, maybe this week. I start "out patient" physical therapy 3 x's per week on Monday for the next 4 weeks. At least that gets me out of the house.
As for future bikes, I'm leaning towards a Vulcan 900 and adding a Trike kit as my next set of wheels. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

A 3 wheeler Vulcan would be a nice ride. It has enough power to get er done without going overboard. I'm sure your prior experience with custom seats wil be an asset.
