Please look at the e-bay item I posted paying particular attention to the bottom view of the seat. Your opinion is appreciated. Looks like it may be a fit. When I compare my CheeZee seat to the screen photo it looks like a match, although it is hard to discertain the scale. Thanks!

Had someone on e-bay measure from the seat tongue to the latch post on his Marauder 800 seat and it's 13.25". Same as the one on my GZ. Hmmmmm...... I got to know. Wouldn't it be great if we could find a fit??? Does anyone know where they could compare one.

My local Suzuki dealer is jerk. He wants me to pay in advance for him to order a Maurauder 800 seat, then if it doesn't fit my GZ, he wants a 25% re-stocking fee. Thats BS. :cuss:

Have you asked if you can just try one out off the showroom floor or from a bike they may have in the shop?

If you can figure it out, then props to you.

As I mentioned, they are jerks. They won't let you touch new bikes or anyone elses. So.... the search continues!

I just looked at the seat from Ebay. The bottom of the seat looks too bubbly. Also, while the measurements might be the same, the curvature of the front lip looks too steep to be on the same plane as the GZ seat.

That seat was a Corbin. Do a new search for "Marauder 800 seats" and you'll see a stock Marauder seat that looks alot closer than the Corbin. Plastic pan & all. Let me know what you think. (again) Sorry to keep beating the proverbial dead horse, but my butt hurts and I'd like to solve this universal problem

Thanks again for your patience with my overbearing tenacity.

Any updates on whether a Marauder 800 seat will fit the GZ250? I went on a 90 mile ride today, and about 60 miles into it I was cursing the stock seat.

I have bad news to all. The Marauder VZ 800 seat DOES NOT fit the GZ.
