Re: gz gas tank needed
I got the tank i ordered on ebay today. What a perfect color match, i havent seen a red bike as red as mine, lol, but what a match. I see small rust stains on the inside, nothing major i think. I think im going to use a sealer for inside the tank before i use it and fill it with gas, whataya think ?

If they are only little surface spots, just keep it filled with gas and you'll be good. They rust when they sit empty for periods of time and go unattended. Keeping gas in it will keep it from growing.

I'm with WW.Install a inline filter & ride.Keep the tank full of fuel & you will have no problems. My 22 year old bike has some rust in the tank & it's never given me any problems,or got any worse in 3 years.I don't like "Creme Liners".If they don't adhere properly they make a real mess. |

Re: gz gas tank needed
Yup yup, this is a much finer fuel filter to catch the really small stuff and easily replaced if it plugs up with unwanted crap.
