Thanks everyone.
I added some Sea Foam to the fuel, and now the bike will run for longer after a couple of seconds in PRI position, but it still dies. Found the vacuum hose - what should I be looking for in it? |

It should hold a vacuum in it, between the carburetor and the fuel valve.
Well not really a vacuum, more like a little negative pressure. Its suction opens the fuel valve when it's on ON or RES. If it is leaky or brittle: replace.

OK, I have been stupid. Its not enough to find the vacuum hose, it has to be connected on both ends. It got disconnected somehow. I plugged it back and and the motorcycle starts instantly.
