:skull: Again I have to protest - this time in WW's favor.... "only change one letter, any one, leave the rest in the order they were in". He only changed one letter - took out the R added an S the "ace" stayed in place. In ANY change your removing one letter and adding another. Still a four letter word and the core stayed as it was.

Well, I looked it up again on p. 36 or thereabouts, mrlmd1 wrote that ("Wrong -" etc.) in reaction to your post quoted here, about the similar change of 'lamp' to 'clam'.
In this case, the 'ace' didn't stay in place, but shifted over, so - no good.

However the general consensus here, also expressed by mrlmd1, is: 'if it's not caught right away, we let it fly'.
So here is a new word:
