Traffic and congestion on the city roads can slow you down to the point of misery, where you can't even enjoy the scenery, and also get you choked with smog.

Thanks Fawlty. At temps of 37C we were glad to have an air conditioned car. Most of the time the weather cooperated beyond belief and we missed all of the disasterous weather conditions that plagued so many folks.
OMG, I see a trend here. We drove through and later disaster struck.

English is a silly language.
