yup.
yer going to have to get one and plug it in to the harness. Unlike the days of old where all you needed was a coil and a set of points and condenser and a 12v battery, these days all that stuff is now majically controlled by the cdi. My advice is do not waste money on aftermarket cdi's. Its a crap shoot if you get one that will work for your bike.
