Rear brake replacement

Getting new EBC rear grooved shoes this week. This will be my first time doing the rear brakes. Wondering if there is anything tricky I should know about before I dive in.

I've read the manual (downloaded here) on how to do it, just wanting any tips or things to watch out for from the experienced hands here on the group.

Yeah. Installation was pretty easy. EBC rear grooved shoes are super smooth feeling with nice progressive grab that feels stronger but is not abrupt and jarring..... definitely an upgrade from the OEM shoes the bike came with.

Totally going with EBC when the front pads need done.

Quite often brake shoes and pads will get glazed and not want to perform well. Remove them and give them a light sandblasting to remove the glazing. Back to original braking power in minutes and a lot cheaper too.
