I'm Bob Pike, how do you like me so far?
Seriously, glad to be on here, looking forward to being part of this community. I have a 2010 Harley Softail Custom and 2015 Honda Grom and bought the 2006 GZ250 for my wife, but I like to ride it too! I've had over 30 bikes because I'm pretty old.
Right now I'm trying to figure out the GZ petcock, to my old eyes it seems to say "ON - PRI - RES". I just finished riding for an hour on PRI without a problem and don't really understand. I am used to ON - OFF - RES. To complicate things my Suzuki dealer cannot get a manual so I'm looking for .pdf owner's and shop manuals. Thank you for listening! Login or Register to Remove Ads |

There is a place on the forum with the website you can click on and download the manual. Or you can just Google it and download it. Hope you and your wife enjoy the GZ. It is a fun bike to ride and is very forgiving for newbies (like your wife?). Ride safe and welcome.

Click the link or copy and paste the above link into your browser search and it should bring you to the thread with both manuals. Welcome to the family. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Welcome from the West coast Bob. We share first names and 2006 bikes for our wives. I lost her due to health problems a couple years ago but I still thank her every day for our time riding together and the memories we created. Lynda started riding at age 60 and loved it. After 2 years on the GZ Lynda upgraded to a Suzuki M-50. She finally hung up her helmet after a flawless 5 year riding career and a solo test of metal of over 5,000 kms to see her brother.
The GZ forum is a wealth of information from many folks from almost everywhere and they all praise the GZ for it's reliability and ease of riding. |
