Question I can't seem to find....

Any manufacturer that makes an air cooled 500 cc cruiser.
I think that's a shame.

Why do you want air cooled? From what I've read, water cooling is a much more efficient way than air cooling.

They discontinued the Kawasaki Vulcan 500.One of the best 500's around IMO.If you can find a low mileage used one I would grab it......Quick!!

A little big but take a look at a Yamaha Star 650. Air cooled V-twin. I personally can't warm up to one but that's just me.

Liquid cooled is superior in most cases because there is a more constant operating temp and that in itself will lead to less issues down the line. Oil temps will be more uniform and there is less expansion and contraction of engine parts. Engines can be made to more close tolerances too.

Would I buy an air cooled bike............sure, why not if I wanted one. Most of my past bikes were air cooled. My 1st water cooled was a Suzuki GT 750 triple 2 stroke. Didn't even have a fan on it and always ran right on the designated dot on the temp guage. Sold it after having it a year. Really wish I had been smart enough to keep it more than a year. Awesome sound when the throttle was twisted a whole bunch.

My neighbor has the Yamaha vstar 650 and loves it. He rides with us all the time and has no issues with the bike. It seems very dependable to me. I seen plenty of Vulcan 500s for sale on craigslist also. You could find both bikes at good prices and in good condition pretty cheap used.
