Question GZ250 Rear Tire

Hey guys this is my first post so bear with me if its in the wrong place or has already been answered but I just bought a 2002 gz250 for 750$ and it has a pretty bad leak in the rear tire the tread is good I guess it punctured some how and I was wondering if these bikes have tubes or not

If they do then could I just replace the tube?

Yes, all bikes with spokes have inner tubes. While you're at it, check the manufacture date on the tyre wall. Even if the tread's good. tyres over 5 or 6 years old can lose their "stickiness" and cause them to lose grip on the road.

Agree with Alantf about the old tire. As for the tube it might even be the original and I personally wouldn't trust my life with it.

There are a few spoke wheels that do run tubless tires but they are not that common.
