Maintenance Parts Source in Dallas

Was surprised to find that AutoZone did not carry the oil filters for my 2000 GZ250. They had some for the GS250 for years upto 92-99 and after 2002 but did not show the GZ250 at all. Made me wonder.

1) Is there something significantly different between the GZ and GS.
2) What was differenty about the 99-2000 year model on the GS and was it also different on the GZ.

Most importantly, can anyone recommend a good place in Dallas to get a GZ250 oil filter for a 2000 year model.

Thanks

The filter for the GZ was used in several bikes.
Any Suzuki dealer will have them.

Let your fingers do the walking. Call around to various auto parts stores and ask for a HiFlo HF-136 oil filter. Small engine repair shops may have them too. They are also used on some quads so there is another parts source. The HF-136 is identical to the suzuki filter without the more expensive name.

I usually get filters and spark plugs from Bates Cylces in Carrollton. I'm pretty sure they have another location or two in the D/FW Metroplex.
