Saietta R Electric Bike
Interesting project here. Light and fast acceleration, but short range. Definitely a head turner though!
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/n ... stink.html Here is more info and specs. Top speed of 80mph and a price tag of around £15000 ($24000). http://www.agilitymotors.com/bikes/saietta-r.html

Looks like an interesting ride for the rich kids. I'll stick with the fossil fuel concept until there is no more left in the ground. Still the cheapest and most reliable.

Have you guys seen the German one that you actually pedal but still goes like 50mph? Full motorcycle frame? It's amazing.
