Motorcycle Jacket Tailbone Zipper Question
Bought a NexGen condura jacket. It has a horizontal zipper inside at the base (tail bone area). The zipper is attached to the coat on one side and the other side of the zipper is also there with material so you could sew it into something. My question is what would that something be?? :??:
My guess is motorcycle pants so that the jacket would not ride up in a crash. Maybe it's to zip on a fanny pack or seat cushion? Correct answer would be greatly appreciated.

You're right. It's there so you can zip in pants so your body will stay inside your suit/gear during a crash.
Just about all protective jackets have those rear zippers. |

Makes sense but since I don't plan on zipping my pants in, I'm thinking a small fanny pack might not be a bad idea. Basically would add another pocket, but one that could be unzipped and taken with. Hmmmm, but what would I put in said Tailbone Pack?

Not sure I would zip a small pack to it - for if you were to fall, the last thing you'd want is to have a pack strapped to your jacket pushing into your L-spine.
