New Zealands Coro Loop.

Done a 8hr 420km jount today. Auckland through to Kawakaw bay down to Miranda then over to Thames, up long the coast line to Coromandel, then back down the other side to Whitianga, back along to Kopu then back home to Auckland. I wasnt intending on doing the coro loop (Thame-Coromandel-Whitiang-Kopu) just go to Miranda and back, but decided I would when I got to the turn off after Mianda. Have been meaning to do it for along time, just never got around to it. Took my top and stoped a fair bit, got stuck behind alot of lot of trafic too. Got to see a Kenworth up close in slow motion too.... That was interesting. Heres a map of the route http://goo.gl/maps/fK8CQ and some pictures

This is Kawakawa Bay, I never knew it was there. So amazing.

This is from Coromandel, bit sadistic being in a cemetary but I needed somewhere to stop and eat my lunch.

This was just a scenic look out I stopped at to try regain feeling in my legs. Past those islands you can see there is nothing, just vast ocean.

This was Simpsons Beach about 5 minutes out from Whitianga. Laid down on the grass and had a bit of a snooze, Then after some gas from whitianga it was the long haul back to Auckland

Though some of you guys might enjoy the pictures. Good old 'saki held up awesomely, never missed a beat.

Re: New Zealands Coro Loop.

Its a 1989 Kawasaki ZX1000b2, Awesome machine.

It was a pretty mint day, bucketed down with rain about 5 minutes before I left, but cleared up. And a few small drizzles along the way but wasn't anything to be concerned about. There was heaps of bikes out, went past 1 pub and must have been at least 50 bikes.
