Seat replacement and passenger pegs.

I want to put cafe style seat with a place for a passenger on my GZ.if not a cafe than at least a thinner one piece seat. As it is right now the frame has been cut and rewelded with an extension that is flat but I still have the factory single seat. Anyone know of any seats that will fit my current layout? should I just start off with a custom seatpan and go from there? Also trying to find out the diameter of the tube part of the frame because I want to attach clamp on passenger pegs. I think its 1" but its a pain to measure and wanted to know if anyone has done this before.

Re: Seat replacement and passenger pegs.

You are likely stuck with creating your own seat. As for the diameter of any tubing on the bike you might just as well buy a tool for measuring properly.

I've had this one so long it is more than old enough to vote.

Re: Seat replacement and passenger pegs.

so purchased 1"-1.25" bolt on passenger pegs (for highway bars) and purchased myself a drill and rivet gun for veterans day and made myself a passenger seat with marine grade vinyl and outdoor furniture foam and a few rivets. going to need some help doing fiberglass work to make the rear cowl and repair the tank but totally different post.
