Re: Sputtering
I was hoping nobody would ask that. In the past month I've taken my fuel tank off the bike countless times, to fix the carburetor, check the spark plug, etc. I KNOW there are two hoses that connect to the petcock, and I ALWAYS connect both of them when I reassemble everything. Well, apparently not always. I was so sure I had the vacuum hose connected, but it appears that I didn't. I suppose it's possible that I just loosely connected it and it came off while starting/riding, but it probably was just carelessness on my part. I have been on here a lot with some bigger problems recently, and I it didn't even register that I wouldn't have connected both lines to the petcock. Thanks for the help.
