Re: Newer Rider, New GZ owner

I took the MSF class already. It was a lot of fun. In Texas it is a requirement to get a motorcycle licenses.

Re: Newer Rider, New GZ owner

Hi Ted and welcome aboard. To get my GZ front to lock, I turn all the way to the left, then push back a little bit with my left hand while turning the key with my right. That way when you get the the perfect line up spot, it will pop in and lock. So far it always works for me. You may want to try it. Aftre a few times, I can sometimes know where the matched up position and it locks right away. Let us know if this helps. GZBrian

Re: Newer Rider, New GZ owner

I just got the bike too. I had the same problem. I was confused why I couldn't turn the key into lock.

The secret is to wiggle the handle bars while turning your keys into lock.
