Mark, the pillion seat was just not needed as Lynda is a solo rider too. This was her GZ until she moved up. She rode the little darling over 5000 KMS(3000 miles)just to visit her brother with nary a problem.

Cool! It looks like you mounted the top case plate directly to the fender?
I removed the foam and mounted my plate directly to the plastic pillion shell. A little easier for me (not all that mechanical). Regardless, it is amazing how much more practical having a permanent hard case is, I even carried a propane tank home from the local station ( had to bungee the top). Also nice to hear about the bike's reliability! Mark |
