Chain guard - 1999 vs. 2004

Hello,
Does anyone out there know if there's a difference in the chain guard from the 1999 model to the 2004 model?

bikebandit.com shows different part numbers for the two model years.
same goes for cheapcycleparts.com

I dont know what the differences are so they may still be interchangeable.
