If something costs $1200 it better have an engine, or be made of effin diamonds! Gore-tex is pretty neat stuff though.

Maybe if you became a famous racer, Alpinestars would sponsor you and give you that jacket for free. =)

haha, don't want to be a racer, it would be fun but falling off at 300 mph wouldn't be. i want to find a nice plain leather coat with armor, one thing i find will all leather motorcycle jackets they just have too much stitching all over them. i don't like that. only stitching i want on a coat is where the sleeves hook on and for the pockets. and the price on a lot of these are between 400-600 kind of pricey if you ask m

If you want some nice styles at a decent price, google "interstate leather". I can testify to their quality, as I've got one of their retro style. (although it cost me a lot more, over here, than you pay in America) :2tup:

Have you looked at Schott's leather jackets...they're made right in New York...they are of a very high quality leather and craftsmanship. I was contemplating the actual coat in the link, but the sleeves are too long for me. And of course I realize you need a men's coat...before anyone corrects me on this forum! :roll:
