Since it has vaccuum, & connects to the crankcase I'm sticking with my original thought of it being either a PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventillation) valve of some sort.

funny, pvc valve was actually my first thought when i saw the picture. i had one go bad in my merkur xr4ti. the turbo wasent getting any boost (at least that was how it felt) after i replaced it hauled ass again. i thought of that that's why i made the joke about it being a mini turbo charger. than the waist gate actuator went bad and stuck open about 2 weeks later, i lost boost again |

No one on hear KNOWS what it is, that is why we are still talking about it and asking what it is, and yes it is a guess but a very educated guess, it is connected to the crankcase and the fuel petcock and more than likely the air filter box, I doubt that anything but air would be traveling to or from all three of those places. And as far as we can tell, no one in the U.S. or Canada has that thing on their bike, so it must be a European/Spain device.

Okay, here is a thought or maybe a clarification of what it is. It is a vacumn controlled PCV valve. The small front hose looks like a vacumn line and goes back to the petcock to share vacumn with the petcock after the engine starts. The vacumn opens the PCV valve after the engine starts and maintains that position until the engine is stopped. The 2 larger pipes or tubes will be for the crankcase and airbox intake.
