Handle bars and risers

Hello everyone. This is my first post. I have 2007 GZ250 and I'm looking into changing the handle bars. Thought about some chrome risers with a set of drag bars. Does anyone know the diamiter of the stock bars? I wonder if the suzuki S40 risers and bars would work? thats the look I'm going for. I also ordered the 16 tooth sprocket from my dealer yesturday, looking forward to that mod!

7/8" handlebars is what you need .. and risers to match.

Thanks for the info. One more question....where can I get grips for this bike? Now that I know they are 7/8" what about the trottle grip, is it bigger due to the plastic sleeve for the trottle?

Anytime you buy new grips, any 7/8 grip set will work, (I like PROGRIPS) one will be slightly fatter than the other. The larger one goes over the throttle sleeve and the smaller of the two slides on the left.

Take care,
Jonathan
