I miss my GZ250
Hi to all GZ forum readers. My first bike was a 2001 GZ250. I rode the wheels off that thing (and the valve rockers) and ended up selling it to step up to a bigger bike. I would have loved to modify it and customize it but this forum didn't exist then. I'm glad to see there's a place for that now. To make a boring and long story short and less boring, I now ride a much, much bigger 2002 Kawasaki ZRX1200R with lots of little goodies on it (and more on the way). I love the Rex to death, but I really do miss the little GZ. I'm even thinking about picking up a low mileage used example on eBay or something for old time's sake, or even springing for the new injected TU250. And now with this forum I can do all the little things I never could before. Thanks to everyone and hello to all you GZ heads.

Re: I miss my GZ250
good luck in your quest. Might be some impulse purchases available on ebay now that gas is back under four bucks. I've seen three or four for sale here in the last few months, but it seems like it's not practical to get one from point a to point b.
Saw a lot of "local bikes" on Craig's list when I was shopping. Unfortunately, most of the ones I was interested in were sold by the time I called.
